Meet the Coordinator
Mrs. Kelly in Africa
Mrs. Kelly is a math and science teacher and a lover of all plants and wildlife! Her degree in conservation from the University of Michigan has been the backbone for all the conservation work she has done both in the United States and in Africa. Her experience in landscape design and use of Michigan native plants helped fuel her desire to create an outdoor classroom right here on our very own WMS property. Not only create an outdoor classroom where all students in all subjects can learn, but also create a center where real conservation work can occur. She looks forward to installing native plants and establishing a colony of endangered Indiana Bats. She will head up international projects, will work within the ECC to monitor camera trap data and will continue to design and install new mini "classrooms" in our new conservation center.
